Performance, Strength, Speed and Agility Training
NYL is proud to partner with FLIGHT PERFORMANCE AND FITNESS, which offers programs for youth (ages 11-13) and teens (ages 14-18) in their state-of-the-art facility right next door in Waltham. This program is for any athlete in any sport who wants to:
- get stronger
- increase speed and agility
- get ready for an upcoming season/ stay in shape in the off-season
- learn proper weightlifting form
They offer 1x, 2x and 3x/ week options for training with no membership fee. Interested families can fill out this form on their website.
General Lacrosse Training
These programs are not officially vetted or promoted by NYL, but we may have families who have participated in one or more programs; ask your coach or team manager or email us if you'd like us to try to put you in touch with a participating NYL family.
MYL: MYL runs low-cost clinics in the off-season for all positions and age groups. Various locations. Check their website and follow them on socials for updated listings.
PLL Academy : Clinics, positional training, and camps run by PLL pros for all positions and age groups. Various locations, sign up on their website for notifications for upcoming events.
Via Lacrosse: Private and small group lacrosse coaching. Norwood and other locations.
Position-Specific Training
Goalie Gurus: Clinics, private, and small-group coaching. Norwood and other locations.
Faceoff Factory: Weekly faceoff training sessions for all skill levels, 4th grade and up, occasional daylong clinics. Natick or Norwood.
Box Lacrosse
Mass Box Lacrosse: Winter middle school league on Friday nights in Jan/Feb/March. Wellesley.
